Our beautiful Akha Hill Tribe Bags have been directly sourced by us from the Hill Tribes in the North of Thailand. The Akha Tribe who live across the North of Thailand and Nort East Burma produce lovely geometric embroidery.

We are on a mission to save this beautiful embroidery from dying out by establishing a market for this beautiful work.  To this end Peter went out on his motorbike and met some of the ladies who sit at home embroidering, in their villages high up in the Golden Triangle, he came back with this great selection of Hill Tribe Embroidery.

Our Akha Bags are slightly padded and are perfect for keeping passports / documents /travelling money or other important possessions such as rings safe when you are on the road.

As they are hand made they are all slightly different, colours and designs do vary.

They measure 12 cm by 18 cm with a 133cm long string which can comfortably go around an adult or child's neck. They have a press stud fastening along the top.
